117 On Strand
117 on Strand is a landmark mixed-use development located at 117 Strand Street on the boundary of De Waterkantand within Cape Town’s central business district. The building forms part of the city’s dynamic urban core, offering a blend of retail, premium office space and residential apartments in a single address.
Completed as a revitalised city landmark, 117 on Strand comprises approximately 5 200 m² of retail space, 5 500 m² of premium-grade offices, and 117 luxury apartments, combining lifestyle, work and living in a highly walkable location.
Century City Urban Square
Century City Urban Square is a landmark mixed-use development comprising six interconnected buildings within the award-winning Bridgeways Precinct. It includes a state-of-the-art Conference Centre offering a total capacity of approximately 1 900 delegates across 20 venues, a 125-room hotel, and approximately 15 000 m² of premium office space. The precinct is further complemented by five restaurants, boutique retail outlets, and 51 residential apartments, creating a dynamic, mixed-use destination that supports both daytime business activity and after-hours vibrancy.
All components are seamlessly connected via a super-basement parking structure, supplemented by a structured parking garage, together providing in excess of 1 330 parking bays.
Bridgewater
Bridgewater is a notable mixed-use development in Century City, designed to integrate living, working, and hospitality uses around the revitalised Ratanga Park within the broader Bridgeways precinct. It was the first major mixed-use project in the area and forms an important anchor along the urban edge of the park.
The development mixes residential apartments, commercial office space, and hotel and retail offerings into a cohesive built environment.
Bridgewater benefits from proximity to key Centre City destinations such as Canal Walk Shopping Centre, the Century City Conference Centre, and a network of parks and canals, providing strong connectivity and lifestyle amenities for occupiers and residents.
Crystal Towers
The iconic Crystal Towers is a mixed-use development located in the heart of Century City. This landmark development seamlessly integrates hospitality, residential, office, retail, and leisure components within a bold contemporary architectural statement.
Crystal Towers incorporates the Marriott Cape Town Hotel Crystal Towers, a 180-room luxury hotel, complemented by a Life Day Spa, conference facilities accommodating over 300 delegates, 11 meeting rooms, a fully equipped gym and swimming pool, three restaurants, a 24-hour delicatessen, and boutique retail outlets. The residential component comprises 90 luxury apartments and penthouses, while the commercial offering includes approximately 1 200 m² of A-grade office suites and a 7 000 m² standalone A-grade office building.
Newspaper House
Newspaper House is a celebrated historic National Heritage building situated at 122 St George’s Mall in the heart of the Cape Town CBD. Originally home to some of South Africa’s largest newspaper publications, the building forms part of the city’s rich media history and early print culture. It was a central printing and editorial base for these iconic newspapers, with the first Cape Argus edition printed here in 1857.
The heritage façade and architectural details have been preserved while the interior has been upgraded to offer A-grade office accommodation in a vibrant location.
At street level, the ground floor retail precinct is anchored by Food Lover’s Market (and associated food and café offerings), creating an active frontage that enhances the bustling pedestrian environment of St George’s Mall.
