Originally established in 1995 as the in-house property management division for the Rabie Property Group, Rabie Property Administrators built a strong foundation of expertise and trust. In 1998, the business was formalised as a wholly owned company within the Rabie Group, continuing to grow in capability and scale.
As the firm matured, its portfolio expanded beyond Rabie-owned assets to include properties held by external funds. In 1999, this evolution led to the establishment of RPA as an independent property administration firm, purpose-built to further strengthen our brand, broaden our client base, and deliver consistently high levels of personalised, hands-on service.
Today, RPA remains focused on what has defined us from the start: operational excellence, long-term relationships, and the careful stewardship of our clients’ property investments.
Our expertise spans the management of retail, commercial, and mixed-use properties. We provide a comprehensive property management service that covers every stage of the asset lifecycle, ensuring properties are efficiently operated, well maintained, and positioned to deliver long-term value.

We currently manage a property portfolio valued at approximately R12-billion, comprising both sectional title properties and portfolios held by institutional property funds.
Our managed assets are primarily located across Cape Town and the Western Cape, reflecting our strong regional presence and in-depth local market knowledge.
The portfolio under our management spans a diverse range of asset classes, including office parks, shopping centres, and hotels.
