Leigh started her career in the property industry in the United Kingdom with Prudential Property Service. After returning to South Africa in 1991 Leigh joined the Rabie Property Group as a site secretary, growing into the position of client liaison. In 1997 Leigh moved back to Head Office to take over the management of the in-house property management department and was instrumental in setting up of Rabie Property Administrators. After holding the position of Portfolio Manager, Leigh was appointed a Director of the Company in 2002. Initially the entire management portfolio was owned by the Rabie Property Group but in recent years RPA has grown considerably with third party clients now accounting for more than 90% of their portfolio. Key clients include Ingenuity Property Investments, Century City Property Investment Trust, Garden Cities, the Billion Group and V&A View Properties.
Delna completed a pre-grad at the University of the Free State and a postgraduate at UNISA. Her SAICA articles were done in auditing at Mazars Cape Town. She spent three months in New York in 2020 on secondment for Mazars LLP before joining RPA in October 2020.
Julie has 30 years’ experience in the commercial property industry. She started her Property Management career at Metroprop in Pretoria, thereafter joining JHI in Johannesburg as Leasing Manager on the Old Mutual Portfolio. She relocated to Cape Town in 2000, managing the property portfolios of various Listed Funds with a 6-year stint at ABSA, in between, sourcing new sites and negotiating lease terms for their retail branches and corporate sites. Julie joined RPA as a Portfolio Manager in February 2017 and was then promoted to Portfolio Executive in 2021 overseeing the management of various external landlord portfolios.
Anneline has 24 years’ experience within the Commercial property industry when she started her property career in 1997 and worked at a variety of property companies including RMB Properties, Abreal Property Management, and Growthpoint Properties in Johannesburg. Anneline and her family relocated to Cape Town in 2015 and joined RPA in 2016 as a Portfolio Manager on the Ingenuity Portfolio.
With 20 years’ experience, Vanessa knows all about stringent attention to detail and stretching budgets with her National Diploma in Marketing. In 1997, she began her career in the retail and property industry at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront where she worked for 8 years. Since then, she has worked for the Georgious at Parow Centre, launched Zevenwacht Mall with Zenprop and worked on numerous community sized centres in and around the Western Cape. She joined the RPA team in 2017 as a Centre Manager to their Garden Cities Portfolio.
Johan is a seasoned Property and Asset Management professional. He managed numerous shopping centre’s in South Africa and the Middle East. Locally, he was the GM of Tyger Valley Shopping Centre. His specialist knowledge and experience gained in all facets of property management adds value to the RPA team. Johan joined the team in 2023, and he is responsible for the management of De Zwartland Markt Shopping Centre in Malmesbury.
Forming part of the recent semigration trend, Genevieve Syngans joins us as Centre Manager from Gauteng. Her property experience includes just over 4 years at Broll, and most recently on the Fortress Property Fund Portfolio.
Jenny started my career in property management in 2006, and studied further, gaining experience with both Body Corporates and Home Owners Associations. Since 2015, Jenny expanded her experience by taking on the role of property manager, in addition to financial administrator of various residential, commercial and retail properties. She joined RPA in 2022 as a Portfolio Administrator and was promoted to Property Manager for Great Westerford in January 2024.
Nhau has over 15 years experience in Utilities Management. In 2008, he joined the Utility Technical Services, working under the UAS and Meter It by managing utilities for property clients. He joined RPA in September 2016 and currently oversees the utilities management for RPA’s portfolio under management.
Michael joined RPA in 2018 after completing his BSc Honours in Property Studies at the University of Cape Town. Starting as a Junior Portfolio Manager, Michael headed up the external landlord portfolio dealing with a mix of commercial, retail and semi industrial properties. In his 3-years at the RPA, Michael has honed a basket of skills providing holistic property management expertise, seeing him take on the title as Portfolio Manager. Michael now heads up the management of the Century City Property Investment Trust Portfolio.
Mitchell has 4 years’ experience in the property industry and graduated with a BSc Hons in Property Studies, with distinction. He commenced his career as a Property finance consultant, working part time while studying. Mitchell joined RPA in October 2023 as a Junior Portfolio Manager and has since been promoted to Portfolio Manager in July 2024.
A Wynberg Boys High School allumni, Nathier studied at the University of Cape Town and achieved a BSc in property studies.

Tamsyn’s career at RPA started 9 years ago as a Portfolio Administrator on the retail portfolio. Her can-do attitude and eternal positive outlook meant that she naturually grew into a Portfolio Manager role, managing a portfolio of properties which consists of varied buildings including industrial, commercial and retail.
Tamsyn can always be seen smiling and she never backs down for a challenge, ensuring that her client is her top priority.
Melissa embarked on her property management journey in 2016. Starting as an administrator in the Body Corporate department at RPA, she quickly found my passion for the industry.
After completing the Paddocks Course in Sectional Title Schemes Management, Melissa transitioned into a portfolio manager role, where she now oversees a diverse portfolio that includes mixed-use, commercial, and residential properties. Her blend of professional experience and personal commitment drives her to provide exceptional service and management solutions for our clients.
Hailing from a facilities management background in customer service, Megan believes in building good relationships, aligning with RPA’s ethos of being in the people business.
Ilse holds an LLB from the University of the Western Cape and pursued a postgraduate qualification at the University of Cape Town. Her career began as a legal assistant, then transitioned into debt management before entering the property sector. Ilse joins us with six years’ Sectional Title experience.
She strongly believes that nurturing relationships is essential for success in the industry. Outside of work, Ilse enjoys watching movies, exploring new dining spots, and taking leisurely walks in picturesque settings.
